Planning Permission Jersey

Required by the Planning Department — produced in-house.

Flood risk assessments for Jersey planning applications.

Certain areas of Jersey fall within flood risk zones. The Planning Department requires a flood risk assessment for any development in these zones. We produce flood risk assessments in-house as part of the full planning application service.

What's Included

How It Works

1

Site assessment

We check whether your site falls within a flood risk zone using Jersey's flood mapping data.

2

Flood risk assessment

We produce the assessment report, covering flood hazard, vulnerability, and mitigation.

3

Submission

The flood risk assessment is submitted alongside the planning application.

Planning Note

The Planning Department requires a flood risk assessment for development in identified flood risk zones. Submitting without one in a flood risk area will result in the application being returned.
